Elton John Hosting Living Room Concert to Aid Coronavirus Fighters

The iHeart Living Room Concert for America will take the place of the iHeartRadio Music Awards, which had been scheduled for Sunday evening - also to be screened on Fox - and which was postponed as a result of the pandemic. Elton John has been announced as the host of a special home concert with characters like Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and more famous names to help alleviate the coronavirus.

Sir Elton will be hosting iHeart Radio's "Living Room Concert for America" next week. The bill is set to include the likes of Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, and Mariah Carey, as well as Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and the Backstreet Boys.

In keeping with best practices for social distancing, the performances will arrive courtesy of each act's personal cell phone and equipment. Numerous artists were scheduled to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, which have now been postponed.

The iHeart Living Room Concert For America will pay tribute to the people on the frontlines during this hard time in order to fight the spread of COVID-19.

The S&P index recorded no new 52-week high and one new low, while the Nasdaq logged two new highs and 36 new lows. It also said sales are bouncing back in China, where the outbreak has eased and most Nike stores have reopened.


The event also plans to pay tribute to health professionals and first responders who are on the front lines battling the coronavirus.

To extend the reach of the commercial-free special's charitable component, FOX will offer the event across all of its linear and digital platforms and donations from viewers/listeners will be sought.

In addition to the musical performances, viewers can support two charities that are help victims and first responders during this pandemic -Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation.
