Bindi Irwin Marries Longtime Love Chandler Powell at Australia Zoo

Bindi and Chandler are set to marry at Australia Zoo and Bindi's brother Robert will walk her down the aisle - along with a few koalas! There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now.

"Even though all of your wedding plans had to change at the last minute to keep everyone safe and healthy, it truly was an emotional and beautifully spontaneous day..." he added. "We wish all of our friends and family could have been there with us, however it's lovely that we will be able to share photos and videos", she continued. "Today we celebrated life and reveled in every attractive moment we shared together in our Australia Zoo gardens".

Her little brother Robert walked her down the aisle on a day that was filled with "smiles and tears".

Bindi and Chandler - who was previously a wakeboarder in Seffner, Florida - met at Australia Zoo, and when revealing the news of her engagement on social media, Bindi wrote: "Chandler, close to six years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness".

"This was one of our first family trips with Chandler many years ago!Chandler, thanks for being my lip sync buddy from day 1!"

After he presented his childhood sweetheart with a diamond ring, they both took to Instagram to share the happy news.

After the couple's ceremony, Powell also shared a post on Instagram, sharing his joy in "finally" marrying his "best friend". He visited the Australia Zoo during his trip, and Bindi happened to be there giving tours. "There's no one more ideal for Bindi and I'm so happy for you both!"

"We want to acknowledge Steve by all of us lighting this candle for him, but you know, I guess in some ways it's not necessary because Steve will be there anyway", she told The Courier Mail.

The 21-year-old Australian conservationist announced on Instagram that she married fiancé Chandler Powell, 22, in a discreet ceremony with immediate family only.

Earlier today, she could be seen exiting a vehicle in a white gown at an erected wedding venue space at her beloved Australia Zoo - the wildlife sanctuary created by her late father Steve Irwin and her mum, Terri, in North Queensland. The 21-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin has been engaged since her birthday in July. "I never even knew Robert was there photographing and I'll always be grateful to have these special memories of the most awesome day of my life". I married my best friend. "Proposing in her very favourite place in the zoo, surrounded by animals, seemed like the flawless way to embark on this incredible new chapter in our lives".
