Samsung Galaxy A31 announced: All the cameras, all the juice

Samsung is reportedly prepping to launch a Galaxy M40 successor and it might go by the name Galaxy M41.

Following months of rumors, leaks, and regulatory sightings, Samsung finally officially announced the Galaxy A31.

The new Galaxy M21 features a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Now, although Samsung has not mentioned which processor is being used on the Samsung Galaxy A31, earlier reports have suggested that the phone might pack MediaTek Helio P65 SoC.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 comes with an octa-core processor, where two cores are clocked at 2.0GHz, and six at a 1.7GHz frequency.

Dubai World Cup meeting canceled due to coronavirus
He was favourite for the World Cup having run so well in Saudi Arabia. "We've just got to go on and try to get the world fixed". The event was created by horse enthusiast Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and owner of the Godolphin stable.

The phone is available in two configurations - 4GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB. Both of the variants come with the option of expandable storage via a microSD card of up to 512GB.

As the Galaxy A31's main sensor is a 48-megapixel affair, it's fair to expect rather sharp images in decent lighting conditions at the expense of somewhat dubious low-light performance. The selfie camera is a 20MP f/2.2 sensor.

The phone is loaded with a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. However, it's going to be another couple of years before Apple gets anywhere close to matching one of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra's best features.

Pricing and availability information is yet to be released, but the Galaxy A31 will be available in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush White at launch.
