Ryan's "Early Spring" Thursday Evening Forecast

Ryan's

Winter weather and severe weather are both expected on Thursday across the state, leading to a very interesting weather day for Nebraska.

Forecasters say a frontal system will bring a couple rounds of showers and storms. Storms are expected to develop ahead of a cold front but are forecast to weaken after the sun goes down and the front loses its forward momentum. This will help us get the mid and low 60s for afternoon highs. All forms of severe weather, including tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds are possible, with the highest tornado threat in the Ohio Valley Thursday afternoon and evening. Before the threat of severe weather arrives, people should identify where they'd seek safe shelter in the home, building, or place-of-safety that they find themselves in during this pandemic.
