Tom Holland Wants Spider-Man to Appear in WandaVision

In a recent interview with MTV, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland was asked which Disney+ series he'd like his character to make an appearance in.

"The future for Spider-Man was still very bright with Sony", Holland says in the video interview while promoting his new Disney-Pixar adventure "Onward" (via The Playlist). Tom Rothman and Amy Pascal were really confident that they were gonna do justice and make a film of the caliber that Spider-Man requires. "Nonetheless that said, I'm truly glad to be once more inside the MCU and to have the group once more collectively because of this of I kind of actually really feel choose it's the place he belongs now", Holland says.

These Spider-Man movies, by which I mean Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, have been some of the best Spider-Man movies ever made.

Back in 2015, the two companies made a deal where they can share the movie rights to Spider-Man until Sony and Disney hit a road bump previous year resulting in the two big studios bracing themselves for the then-imminent departure of Spider-Man from the MCU.

While things are calm on the Spider-Man MCU front for now, it's possible that could change.

They both indicated that the two rival studios would continue working on Spider-Man movies for a while yet, with Horn admitting that the fans played a huge part in renegotiating the deal. The third Spider-Man movie is scheduled to begin production in July.

One of the last Marvel Studios film that has yet to be announced.

The updated agreement, according to Variety, sees Feige stay on as a producer while Marvel and Disney receiving around 25 per cent of the profits.

After some tense - and in one case tipsy - negotiations, Spider-Man is back in the comfortable folds of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland said, "I know everything now". "Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe".

They revamped the franchise in 2017 with Spider-Man: Homecoming and the character went on to join forces with the Avengers as well. While WandaVision will be released in December this year.
