OnePlus 8 Pro Camera Specs Revealed

A report out of 9to5Google claims OnePlus will begin shipping its phones with proper IP ratings instead of just telling everyone "yeah, you can drop them in buckets of water and they'll be fine". While the OnePlus 8 series has appeared in the form of renders before, the device has now leaked in the form of a live image. We suspect this is a ToF (Time of Flight) camera for depth sensing.

Coming to the rest of the specifications of the device, the OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage.

Dual-punch front camera setup will be given in OnePlus 8 Pro for selfie.

A 6.65-inch 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display is also mentioned here, and the same goes for Android 10.

Following two real-life images of the OnePlus 8 Pro back side, and its specs, a new image has surfaced. But according to DxOMark's latest camera review, the 7T Pro, which has the same hardware and software the 7 Pro has, is fairly competitive getting right behind the Galaxy S10 and the Huawei P30 Pro.

The OnePlus 8 announcement is sneaking up on us and will be here very soon, given rumours that it is set to be announced earlier in the year than in previous years. This does bring a bit more credibility to the leak, as we can see a display camera hole in the top-left corner.

As per the pricing, the OnePlus 8 might cost around Rs. 35,000, and the OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to be priced well over Rs. 45,000. Moreover, the OnePlus 8 Pro will the first OnePlus device to support wireless charging.
