Young Thug Backlashed Over Negative Comment On 12-Year-Old Transgender

Former NBA star Dwyane Wade now says that his son, Zion, knew he was transgender at the age of three. In a tweet directed at the 12-year-old, he stated, "All I wanna say to dwade son is "GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES" but hey live your true self".

"She's known it for nine years".

Wade said he and Union were focused on 'trying to figure out as much information as we can to make sure that we give our child the best opportunity to be her best self'.

Wade added that he and his wife, Gabrielle Union, did their research about raising a transgender child which included Union reaching out to the cast of the FX show "Pose".

McNeill then discussed that she knew people in high school that "experimented" and "then boom, I thought they was... that was something they were going through".

Dwyane Wade says he was afraid that Gabrielle Union would not survive after so many fights and miscarriages of IVF

Wade added that while Zaya is grateful for her ability to come out and "be me", she's also preoccupied with standard kid issues like a mock trial at school.

Many people pointed out that neither Wade nor Union said that Zaya would undergo gender affirmation surgery, a medical procedure that some transgender and gender non-conforming people undergo. That's what I knew.

According to Wade, they were a great help when it came to the topics of supporting his 'young lady's identity. "I don't care if you're boy or a girl, for me, there's things we need to be anxious about". 'It's like you're not even living as yourself, which is like the dumbest concept to me.

During his appearance on Ellen, Wade noted that after Zion told the family about his feelings, they began a quest for information. "I had to go and look at myself in the mirror and say, 'Who are you? I think I'm a straight trans because I like boys". "Meet Zaya. She's compassionate, loving, whip smart and we are so proud of her". We see the confidence that she's able to walk around and be herself. As parents, we put our hopes and we put our fears on our kids. "And she's walking us on the journey". "I'm not going to sit here and act like we have all the answers", Wade shared.

"They're a child", she continued for some reason, "your brain is still developing". "When I say we're learning from our 12-year-old, we're literally learning from our child". During a recent interview with ESPN's Rachel Nichols, Wade shed some light on his musical roots and revealed that he recently recorded a verse for an upcoming Rick Ross track.

Home Secretary: Boris Johnson 'absolutely is not a racist'
Dave had paid tribute to Merritt in the immediate aftermath of the attack, acknowledging that the pair had met. Patel said it was "utter nonsense" and Johnson was "absolutely not a racist".
