Winter weather travel advisory issued for the Sault and area

Snow will continue well into Tuesday afternoon.

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Tuesday with about 10 cm of snow on the way and up to 15 cm near Algonquin Park and the Ottawa River.

Tue: High: 46 Low: 34 Becoming mostly cloudy.

Poor winter driving conditions from accumulating snow and low visibility in briefly heavy snow are likely tonight and tomorrow.

Temperatures Wednesday will stay cold, topping out in the teens to the north and mid 30s to the south. Thanks to this front and an upper level disturbance, snow is expected to develop across Greater Nebraska and northern Nebraska early Wednesday.

Throughout the remainder of the week, a warming trend takes over and quieter, calmer weather accompanies it. Highs by next weekend look to rebound into the 40s and 50s. With overnight lows dropping down to the 10s and 20s, there's a good chance that roadways turn slick and icy by Wednesday morning.
