More Rumors About Diablo and Overwatch Animated Series

The profile lists him as being the chief producer of a TV adaptation of an "anime type" Diablo tv present that shall be distributed worldwide by way of Netflix.

The Overwatch series is a little more sketchy on the details.

If that's true, it confirms a long-time rumor that Netflix had one within the works - although it's not clear if the present remains to be in manufacturing. van Dyk's profile notes that the Overwatch TV collection was exclusively "bought", not greenlit, and that the Diablo present was in "pre-production" in some unspecified time in the future. According to the LinkedIn profile of Nick van Dyk, co-president of Activision-Blizzard Studios, shows based on Diablo and Overwatch are both on the way. Back in 2018, reports indicated that a Diablo animated series was being pitched. A Castlevania anime will soon be seeing its 3rd season hit the service, and a Devil May Cry anime adaptation is now in the works. Overwatch 2 is out later this year and Blizzard has already released a number of animated shorts in a bid to promote its new game, but has also detailed the backstory of some of its existing characters in the first instalment too.

China's Hubei to adopt thorough checks on patients to curb virus epidemic
Hubei, the central Chinese province at the center of the outbreak, accounted for 93 of the new deaths and 1,807 of the new cases. A few days later, Chinese authorities announced recording a new case of the infection in a traveller coming from Cairo to China.

A little further down, the resume also refers to "an animated series based [on] Blizzard's Overwatch franchise". Little more is known about it, aside from the fact that it won't be developed in-house due to Van Dyk's use of "developed and sold" in reference to the series. This animated series might be a dream come true for fans.

Would you be keen to see either of these properties turned into full series? Since so far nothing has been announced about this series and we don't even know who the buyer may have been, we can not make any other considerations on the matter. At any rate, would you be interested in the video game series from both franchises?
