ITV Cancels 'Love Island' Sunday Night After Caroline Flack's Death

The attitude of many is that it was the public appetite for details about Flack's private life that drove the scale of the coverage, with articles about her death topping the "most-read" lists. "Everybody at "Love Island" and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news".

"I'm not going to pretend she was ideal, but is anyone? As Caroline recently posted, 'In a world where you can be anything, be kind, '" Willoughby added of Flack, who was often a guest of the United Kingdom breakfast show, This Morning, which Schofield and Willoughby also host.

Jay explained that Caroline and her publicist would let photographers know when she would be arriving at an industry party.

Flack, 40, the former presenter of the hugely popular reality show "Love Island" and a victor of Britain's version of "Dancing with the Stars", was found dead in her London flat on Saturday after committing suicide.

A lawyer for Flack's family said on Saturday that she had taken her own life.

Flack's last post on Instagram was the sweetest.

On Saturday, February 15, Flack's family confirmed she had passed away.

Will Richardson led OR with 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting including 3-of-5 from 3-point range plus 4-of-4 at the charity stripe. Utah lost by a count of 70-51 Thursday night at Oregon State to drop to 14-10 overall and 5-7 in conference action.

"I don't get as upset as I used to, but I'm still human", she said a year later.

An ITV statement said it had decided not to air Sunday's show "out of respect for Caroline's family", adding "all of us are absolutely devastated". "So I was just sitting there and he arrived with a few others in tow and we all spent the evening chatting and laughing".

Flack had pleaded not guilty to the charges, and Burton insisted she was innocent while begging the Crown Prosecution Service to drop the charges. She lived every mistake publicly, under the scrutiny of the media. It follows her being charged with allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.

"The CPS should look at themselves today and how they pursued a show trial that was not only without merit but not in the public interest", said Francis Ridley of Money Talent Management. "Thank you for your continued support and love".

The Britain's Got Talent judge questioned why Flack was not shown the "same level of consideration" and "protection" as other artists who have "struggled recently".

Ms Flack was put under the spotlight at the end of past year when she stepped down from her role on the ITV2 dating show after being arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend.

The fact that ITV has pulled the episode is a major statement from the broadcaster, which did not pull any episodes of the show following the March 2019 death of former contestant Mike Thalassitis.
