Booker named as Lillard's replacement for All-Star Game, Three-Point Contest

On Thursday morning, the National Basketball Association announced that Booker would replace injured All Star Damian Lillard on Team LeBron, as well as in the 3-Point Contest on All Star Saturday night.

Booker's selection is the 63rd all-time for the Suns and first since Steve Nash in 2012.

The sharpshooter has competed in the 3-point contest three times and won the event in 2018.

Tyler Ulis, Booker's former teammate and best friend, took a moment to congratulate him on a Twitter.

An MRI on Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard confirmed the diagnosis of a strained right groin, and the All-Star will be re-evaluated in a week.

But you know what, it's so amusing , I'm actually not a Bridezilla, I call myself a Bridechilla. "I take it very seriously". Lionel asked Katy if she was serious, to which Katy said that perhaps they will be somewhere on the B-list.

The starters for the NBA All-Star game are chosen through a combination of fan, player and coaches votes. That is inevitable. Devin Booker was among them. They are in ninth place in the Western Conference standings after reaching the Western Conference Finals last season.

Although the Suns remain among the bottom feeders out West, Booker is now averaging 26.4 points to go along with 6.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds per night.

So far this season, Booker has been averaging 26.4 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.2 rebounds. Now it's an entertainment-, drama-, political-filled league, but we're a part of it now.

The All-Star Game format is also changing. Booker also suggested that his team's record may have played a role. This marks the fifth-year pro's first appearance in the star-studded affair. "I'll still be there and be a part of it, but I'm not going to play".
