NASA astronaut Christina Koch posted a heartwarming video of her reunion with beloved pooch LBD - which stands for Little Brown Dog - after spending 11 months in space.

The 41-year-old space explorer shared a video of the moment she was reunited with her dog after her 328-day stay at the International Space Station.

Koch posted the adorable video of their reunion on her Facebook page with the caption "Not sure who was more excited".

"I feel great", Koch said about six days after her return to Earth.

"I wish I had enough time on there to get bored, but not all", she explained, during her first live TV interview since returning to Earth on Thursday. Koch spent 328 days in outer space, the longest spaceflight in history by a woman.

"Within the first two minutes of being back on Earth I had seen more people's faces than I had seen in a year", Koch told ABC News.
