Shreyas Iyer to Attend 69th NBA All-Star Weekend

Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to perform a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant during the NBA's upcoming All-Star weekend. Additional details weren't made available, and the nature of Hudson's tribute is seemingly being kept under wraps.

Team LeBron is a five-point favorite over Team Giannis in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, according to the line from BetOnline. Chaka Khan will perform the USA national anthem, while Tenille Arts will sing the Canadian national anthem. Common will address the crowd prior to the game with a narrative about basketball and Chicago, Chicago's own Chaka Khan will perform the national anthem, and Tenille Arts will sing "O Canada".

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Ruffles on February 14 and the NBA All-Star Practice & Media Day presented by AT&T on February 15 will take place at Wintrust Arena. More than 420 global media members from 53 countries and territories are traveling to Chicago to cover NBA All-Star 2020.

The Rising stars game will see first and second year players go head to head, with one team made up of ten first and second year players from the U.S., while the other team will feature ten first and second year global talents.

Hudson's performance is one of many tributes the National Basketball Association will have for Bryant and his daughter Sunday. The players will wear the jerseys during the NBA All-Star Game at the United Center in Chicago on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET. On All-Star Saturday Night, Queen Latifah will team with Chicago youth for a performance of Stevie Wonder's "Love's in Need of Love Today".

Kobe Bryant passed away on January 26th, as a result of a helicopter crash.
