Prince of Persia VR Escape Room Announced by Ubisoft

Now, Ubisoft is planning on evoking those same time-twisting shenanigans as they revive the Prince of Persia...but not as a traditional video game.

Ubisoft's first Prince of Persia VR room escape offering, subtitled The Dagger of Time, tasks players with reaching the Hourglass Chamber of the mysterious Fortress of Time (last seen in 2004's Warrior Within) at the behest of Kaileena, the Empress of Time. Prince of Persia games as suffered an evolution since the original game was launched in 1989 and the games shifted from being more focused on platforms to the action-adventure genre when Ubisoft took control of the license and launched Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Now the French company has put its studio in Düsseldorf in charge of developing Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time, a multiplayer escape room VR game.

Cuomo says he'll ask Trump to reverse move on Global Entry
Trump, a lifelong New Yorker, a year ago changed his primary residence to Florida in a move that could lighten his tax bill. Before Thursday's meeting, Trump criticized Cuomo on Twitter and insulted the governor's brother.

According to the publication of the Ubisoft announcement, Dagger of Time will require teams of two, three or four players to work cooperatively to explore each of the different towers of the temple.

A new Prince Of Persia has been announced, only it's going to be a VR title. Also similar to the games, Ubisoft says it has tried to incorporate some amount of the verticality and traps the games are known, but that the focus is on time control. Instead, this will have 1-4 players have to solve puzzles to advance into the Fortress of Time.

"Controlling time in VR is a one-of-a-kind experience where players will feel the power of the dagger of time in their own hands". Earlier, the gaming company rolled out two other such games, both of which were part of the Assassin's Creed. "To do so, we are not mirroring the in-game environment like we did in Escape the Lost Pyramid, and this makes the riddles and the level design way more complex". We can expect the game in a couple of months.
