Billie Eilish releases the new Bond theme for No Time To Die

Today, five-time GRAMMY Award winning Darkroom/Interscope Records artist Billie Eilish has released her latest song, No Time To Die, the official theme song to the upcoming James Bond film. The song arrives a little over a month before the film's debut in April.

The singer has described working on No Time to Die as a "huge honour" and said Bond is "the coolest film franchise ever to exist".

The recording, itself titled "No Time to Die", was produced by Finneas with a musical arrangement by Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley.

Later in the discussion, Finneas revealed that the Grammy wins did not change his "sibling" dynamic with Eilish and feels that there is no "other person he likes working with as much as his sister".

The words seem to confirm a fan theory that Daniel Craig's final outing as Bond will see him double-crossed by Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux), his love interest from the previous film, Spectre. "I'm still in shock", Eilish said in a statement. "/ Was I reckless to help?" asks Eilish in the bridge. Lana feels like such a born Oscar victor that it felt particularly vindictive when, a few years ago, an anonymous Academy voter reportedly tried to stop her Great Gatsby track "Young & Beautiful" from being nominated.

About a minute into the number, a synthesizer pipes in with a haunting snippet of John Barry's classic Bond theme, written for Dr. No.

James Bond's "No Time to Die". To the cowards deciding who to commission for the next Bond theme, I implore you: Give it to Lana.

Atmospheric and moody, the track is what you'd expect from the "Bad Guy" singer and her producer and brother FINNEAS.

On April 10, Cary Fukunaga directed No Time To Die, and the script was created by Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
