Billie Eilish releases new James Bond theme 'No Time to Die'

Well the theme song to the upcoming James Bond film, performed by Billie Eilish, is finally here!

Over to you: please share your thoughts on "No Time To Die". Listen to it below.

The song arrives a little over a month before the film's debut in April.

About a minute into the number, a synthesizer pipes in with a haunting snippet of John Barry's classic Bond theme, written for Dr. No. I am a huge fan of Billie and Finneas.

"Was it obvious to everybody else that I've fallen for a lie?" she sings on the track.

But while Parker samples particles from up close, Solar Orbiter will snap photos from far away to heighten observations. Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA's associate administrator for science, said: "Solar Orbiter is going to do fantastic things".

And in her own statement, Billie said: "It feels insane to be a part of this in every way. I'm still in shock".

"Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we've been dreaming about doing our entire lives", Finneas added. She also, according to Variety, "represents a dramatic change of direction for the legendary franchise's long history of theme-song performers". "But everybody that we worked with on it, Barbara Broccoli, the producer of the Bond franchise (alongside Michael G. Wilson), we got to work with Hans Zimmer and Steven Lipson in the studio - it was a real joy".

Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell won several awards each at the Grammy Awards last month. She, alongside Finneas, Zimmer and Marr will perform the record at the Brit Awards on February 18th. "Their creative integrity and talent are second to none and I can not wait for audiences to hear what they've brought - a fresh new perspective whose vocals will echo for generations to come". It kicks off on March 9.

This latest Bond film will be Daniel Craig's farewell as James Bond. It's going to be interesting to find out if that's Johnny Marr's guitar in the mix, not to mention how the song plays against the visuals of the title sequence. We wonder how the ominous pop track will land with James Bond diehards, who are often picky about the artists chosen to perform the opening credits tracks. They're tasked with the rescue of a kidnapped scientist, but the mission turns out to be far more unsafe than expected as a mysterious villain armed with risky new technology is thrown into the mix, played by Rami Malek. Be sure to check out the new song for yourself via your preferred music streaming service in the link from the James Bond Twitter account.
