Kravis told the court in a filing he was not only leaving the case but quitting his post as a federal prosecutor. Now, Stone has been recommended for a prison sentence of 7-9 years by prosecutors in the case.

Disney has just confirmed that Lauren Graham will take the lead role in The Mighty Ducks series, set to launch on Disney+ later this year. Also joining the cast are actors Swayam Bhatia (Succession), Taegen Burns (I Can Only Imagine), Julee Cerda (Homeland), Bella Higginbotham (Troop Zero), Luke Islam, Kiefer O'Reilly (DC's Legends of Tomorrow), Maxwell Simkins (The Book of Henry), and De'Jon Watts (The House with a Clock in Its Walls). (It also sounds a lot like the Cobra Kai TV show.) There have been rumors that Emilio Estevez, who starred in all three original Mighty Ducks movies, will appear in the show, but his name isn't mentioned in Disney's press release. "Likewise, I am thrilled to return to my old stomping grounds with my friends at Disney and Steve Brill, the original creator of the franchise, to join them on their exciting new platform, Disney+". As Variety reports, the actress has been tapped to play a mother named Alex, whose son Evan (played by Brady Noon) is cut from the Mighty Ducks' hockey team. "We are thrilled to have Emilio Estevez reprising his iconic role". To quote Averman from D2: The Mighty Ducks, one of our country's finest and most well-respected poets, "Quack Attack is back, Jack!" After some self-realization, Estevez's Gordon helped the underdog team by teaching them the techniques he learned when he was a kid which led them into winning the state championship. James Griffiths and Michael Spiller will serve as executive producers, with Griffiths directing, while Graham is a co-executive producer. Lauren Graham is co-executive producer.

Steve Brill, the original creator, writer and executive producer of all three "Mighty Ducks" films, which spawned an National Hockey League franchise, is back as co-creator and executive producer of the new series.
