In SC, a Frantic Search for Missing 6-Year-Old

Authorities in SC are asking the public to help find the owner of a auto that was spotted close to where a 6-year-old girl vanished without a trace this weekend. They will also do door to door knocks on Tuesday.

The search for the child is still active, despite rumors that suggested she was found dead earlier in the week.

Video footage of Faye on the school bus before she disappeared has been released in the hopes that anyone who recognises her may come forward. Crews with the Lexington County and West Columbia fire departments are involved in that.

Authorities were able to reach the owners of the other auto, a Chevrolet Trailblazer, after receiving tips. Janet Shamlian reports on the law enforcement operation, which now has over 300 police officers and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents blanketing the neighborhood.

During their investigation, authorities have towed two cars from the property where Faye lives, believing that they could be useful. Antley confirmed Thursday that the Chevy Trailblazer's driver has been identified, while the Silver sudan has not been identified. They did not provide more details on this.

The area will now include part of the highway and the surrounding area of the neighborhood. Police were called around 5pET and began a search with over 100 law enforcement personnel, including K9ís.

There will be a heavy police presence in the search area due to the continued search for Faye.

Authorities also found the body of a deceased male. This event is being hosted by the Frontline Biker Church.

Faye is 3 foot 10 inches, weighs about 65 pounds, has shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.

The chief said that when Swetlik was last seen she had a black shirt on with the word "Peace" across it. Faye got off her bus on Monday afternoon and arrived home to her house in the Churchill Heights Neighborhood, Cayce Department of Public Safety Sergeant Evan Antley said.

- the child's name and other critical data have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). Now, more than 250 officers and investigators in Cayce, South Carolina, are desperately searching for 6-year-old Faye Marie Swetlik. With no signs of an abduction, "we have more questions than answers", Capt. Adam Myrick said, per WSOC, though Byron Snellgrove of the Cayce Police Department noted authorities had "found some surveillance video that has helped us".

Cayce Department of Public Safety posted images of the cars, saying: 'The two vehicles shown were in the neighborhood during the time #FayeSwetlik was last seen.
