Trump says Democrats should ‘expunge’ his impeachment

President Donald Trump's administration on Friday ousted the two witnesses who provided the most damaging testimony during his impeachment investigation: Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and Ambassador Gordon Sondland.

He raised red flags after listening to Trump's July 25, 2019, phone call with Ukraine's president - which sparked the House's impeachment inquiry - and testified before the House Intelligence Committee in November.

Trump was impeached in December on two charges related to his campaign to get Ukraine's government to start an corruption investigation into his Democratic election opponent Joe Biden.

Sondland, who was appointed as Trump's European Union ambassador after donating $1m to the President's inauguration, said in a brief statement, "I was advised today that the president intends to recall me effective immediately".

"Vindman was asked to leave for telling the truth", Pressman said.

"I don't like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong nor do I like people who say, 'I pray for you, ' when they know that's not so".

Yevgeny Vindman, Alexander Vindman's twin brother, was also fired by the White House.

Lindman, who had been born in Ukraine, turned up to work on Friday in the White House but was quickly escorted out. "And as I said, we protect all of our persons, service members from retribution or anything like that".

Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update mocked President Donald Trump's orangey tan lines prominently displayed in a viral photo of his hair flying back as he walked to the Oval Office.

Hours after the firing of the Vindman brothers, Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland has also been fired.

"Mr. Giuliani's requests were a quid pro quo for arranging a White House visit for President Zelenskiy".

This House of Representatives show is not about impeachment.

On Friday afternoon, Vindman was escorted out by security and reportedly told his services at the NSC were no longer needed.

Subpoenaed by Congress to testify at the House impeachment hearings, the Ukrainian-born Mr Vindman gave damning evidence.

"The truth has cost LTC Alexander Vindman his job, his career, and his privacy", he said.

An NSC spokesman declined to comment.

Coutinho not surprised by Liverpool success: But I don't regret leaving
I am so happy for them, because I have so many friends there, former team-mates, so I'm just so happy for them. Coutinho says he's looking forward but Liverpool would certainly not be a backwards step.
