'PS I Still Love You' Is A Smart Follow-Up To Young Love

'PS I Still Love You' Is A Smart Follow-Up To Young Love

Lara Jean and Peter are a proper couple now, and Lara Jean is buzzing over getting to enjoy their happily ever after.

Yes! A third To All the Boys I've Loved Before film-officially titled To All The Boys: Always And Forever Lara Jean-went into production two months after shooting wrapped on the second film. Except Centino's Peter Kavinsky, the doe-eyed jock she only pretended to be dating in a sort of mutual pact of high-school social engineering, has actually become her boyfriend for real. John Ambrose McClaren (Jordan Fisher) writes her back, and Lara Jean can't help but be excited by the prospect of him coming back to her life. And John Ambrose McClaren comes and basically, wreaks havoc. As charmingly played by Jordan Fisher (who's appeared in the live TV adaptations of both Grease and Rent), he's also pretty appealing. The second film will continue where the first installment left off. In most triangles, there's a clearly wrong person and a clearly right person; that's not the case here, because that's not what this series is, really.

In the sequel, Condor reprises her role as Lara Jean Song Covey, the high schooler whose love letters were mailed to her crushes, including one to Peter Kavinsky (Centineo), a hotshot lacrosse player.

There's a very fine line to walk, particularly for a story that has already birthed what would, in the heyday of daytime soaps, have been called a "supercouple".

Variety's review of the movie shared a similar opinion that the storyline of To All the Boys 2 is more for the fans than anything else: "If "To All the Boys" was a frank and contemporary spin on the teenage rom-com, then "P.S". Of course, after the first film, most fans have fallen for Peter. When her younger sister mails them out, the mortified Lara Jean has to face several of the recipients, including Peter. - Always and Forever, Lara Jean. Further complicating the situation, John Ambrose and Peter used to be friends. It doesn't have the same effortlessness or the clean throughline that To All The Boys did, but that's partly because it's a more complicated story emotionally.

Just in time for Valentine's day, Netflix's To All the Boys I Loved Before 2 is nearly here, delivering the next chapter of Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky's teen romance. Kitty is there a little; Margot not at all.

Jürgen Klinsmann resigns as Hertha Berlin manager after 10 weeks
In late November, he returned to the sidelines for the first time since being fired as USA national team coach in 2016. Jurgen Klinsmann has has stepped down as head coach of Bundesliga strugglers Hertha Berlin after 76 days in charge.

Lara Jean soon receives a letter from one John Ambrose - a former crush.

This chapter is different, for sure.

In addition, Netflix's slowing growth in the US can also be attributed to, in part, continued price increases for a catalog that's now more dependent than ever on Netflix's original programming to keep subscribers hooked. I Still Love You premieres February 12, 2020 on Netflix.

The thought of teen romantic comedies often leaves some people rolling their eyes and shaking their heads, as the movies offer unrealistic scenarios with no real message.
