Zion Williamson Reacts To His First Game With The Pelicans

It took 13 weeks and a few days but the debut of Zion Williamson, the No. 1 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, was finally here. Williamson didn't disappoint either with an impressive 17 point fourth-quarter performance, highlighted by four made three-pointers.

The point guard was wowed by Williamson's range, telling the media after the Pels' loss to the San Antonio Spurs that he thought, "Okay, cool", after the rookie's first three. He also said that the way Williamson played "is something he can do every day". Head coach Alvin Gentry eventually removed Zion from the game and the Pelicans lost.

They are going to love Zion Williamson in New Orleans - and throughout the National Basketball Association.

Myanmar President Win Myint said he "concurred" with the findings of the commission and vowed to pursue further investigations. In a rare joint statement Wednesday, more than 100 Myanmar civil society organisations expressed support for the ICJ case.

The debut itself was a dream come true for Zion. "Leave me in", begged Williamson, according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated. "But I'm not a doctor or a trainer, so I've just got to listen to them". "Just the energy the crowd brought, the energy the city brought, it was electric and I'm just grateful that they did that".

As the season goes on, Williamson will continue to be on a minutes restriction thanks to his proneness for injuries. Hopefully, Williamson can get himself to 100 percent so he can dominate the league for years to come.
