Motorola Announces New Release Date for Its Foldable Razr

After a lot of build up, Motorola's foldable Razr is almost here.

At around U.S. $1,500 launch price, the Motorola Razr features a single 16MP rear camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, 6HB RAM and 128GB of storage.

Finally, it's worth noting that every Motorola Razr comes with Razr earbuds, which are described as "a premium USB-C headset professionally tuned by Denon Audio expert sound engineers with advanced Digital Signal Processing for fantastic sound whether traveling, working or relaxing" by Verizon.

The hot new Motorola Razr foldable was supposed to go up for pre-order the day after Christmas and arrive at some point this month.

I sympathise with pals who've come to Half-Life late and bounced off the first. Valve's blog post has links for the lot.

But it's the hype surrounding its impending release that has forced Motorola to delay its launch just to make sure the company can keep up with demand. In fact, starting February 6, the Razr should even be available in stores, in some limited quantities. The phone costs an eye-watering $1,500, or $62.49 per month for 24 months on a payment plan with Verizon Wireless.

Of course, as it often does when a new phone releases, Verizon is offering a number of trade-in discounts for the Razr, particularly to people who are now with another carrier. But if you're in the United States, you'll be able to pre-order a unit through Verizon, Walmart and Motorola's website on the 26th. That said, Verizon is softening the blow with trade-in deals; $500 off for trading in certain eligible smartphones, and another $200 via pre-paid MasterCard if you're switching from another carrier.

If you'd like to get in on pre-orders, head over to the various stores linked below.
