The Captain Marvel writing-directing duo Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck are not returning to helm the sequel, which has officially received the green light from Marvel.

That all seems very grand and epic, but it boasts a belting soundtrack and a pretty class cat (flerken).

While you could make a Captain Marvel 2 set in the past during the character's time in deep space (that might actually be pretty cool), it probably makes more sense to set the film after the events of Avengers: Endgame. That's all we ask.
