Ozzy Osbourne reveals Parkinson's diagnosis

"It's Parkin's II, which a form of Parkinson's".

Ozzy said he was in a "shocking state" a year ago.

"I got a numbness down this arm for the surgery, my legs keep going cold", he said in the interview. "I can not walk around with it anymore 'cause it's like I'm running out of excuses, you know?" That's the problem, because they cut my nerves when they did the surgery. "I'd never heard of nerve pain, and it's a weird feeling".

Earlier this week, the rockstar was spotted walking with a cane.

Ozzy revealed that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a nervous system disorder that affects movement, according to the Mayo Clinic.

"It's been terribly challenging for us all", the Black Sabbath frontman said.

Ozzy's family, however, has been nothing but supportive - even helping him to get back into the studio. I need it you know- that's my drug. I know going to the studio makes him happy.

Pat Torpey, the longtime drummer for rock group MR. BIG, died in February 2018 due to complications from Parkinson's disease. "So in April - we're going to a professional in Switzerland".

The NHS describes Parkinson's as a condition in which parts of the brain become progressively damaged over many years. He said he wanted to speak out after it was falsely reported he was on his "death bed".

"The hardest thing is watching somebody that you love suffer", Kelly told "Good Morning America".

"I'm no good with secrets", he said. "I can not walk around with it anymore 'cause it's like I'm running out of excuses, you know?" "It's like I'm running out of excuses". Now, he's on the mend, revealing that he's on Parkinson's medication and taking nerve pills.

"They're my air, you know", said Osbourne of his fans. Just know that I am getting better every day...

Ozzy added: 'I just can't wait to get well and get on the road again that's whats killing me.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition.

The couple were interviewed by Robin Roberts in their Los Angeles home.

He said he's been recovering for nearly a year now. I thought I'd got some terminal illness because the improvement was so slow, ' he added. "When I do come back on the American tour I want to be 100 percent ready to come out and knock your f-king socks off".
