George Lucas’ Picture With Baby Yoda Goes Viral

Disney Plus' show The Mandalorian sparked Baby Yoda fever, and the latest viral photo is that of Star Wars creator George Lucas with the creation.

Sellers faced action due to using trademarked terms including "Star Wars", "The Mandalorian", and "Yoda", which are all owned by Disney.

What do you think about the photo with George Lucas and Baby Yoda?

As of Friday morning, Favreau's photographic gem had amassed more than 500,000 likes on Twitter.

Confirming the news at a conference in Orlando, Florida, Build-A-Bear CEO Sharon Price John said: "I'm excited to share we will be one of the first companies to provide the digital and internet phenomenon who is trending higher than all the presidential candidates combined".

Timberwolves Trade Jeff Teague
The Atlanta Hawks have acquired Jeff Teague in a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. In 34 appearances with the Wolves this season, Teague is averaging 13.2 points and 6.1 assists per game.

Lucas hit the show's set on October 19 a year ago, as a special surprise birthday present to Favreau, with the director posting a shot of the pair on the day (he appears to be wearing the same shirt, though, judging by the pic from the Solo premiere above, it seems to be one of his faves). If you search "Baby Yoda" on Etsy on Saturday, a number of listings still pop up, including $30 Baby Yoda sweaters and several stuffed versions of the small, green humanoid alien.

USA chain Target, has been taking pre-orders for the toys since late previous year and you can snap one up for just $9.99 (£7.67).

Disney was slow to produce Baby Yoda merchandise and its own plush of "The Child," more commonly known as Baby Yoda, sold out and has yet to be restocked.

Is Baby Yoda the real Yoda?

"He stole our hearts and now I want him to steal our keyboard space".
