The Wiggles Star Greg Page Collapses at Bushfire Relief Show

The Wiggles star Greg Page has been rushed to hospital.

Original Wiggles member Greg Page has collapsed and gone into cardiac arrest at a bushfire relief concert in Sydney.

On Friday, the children's entertainer had a medical emergency while performing with his original bandmates Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle), Murray Cook (Red Wiggle) and Jeff Fatt (Purple Wiggle) at a bushfire relief concert in Sydney.

Footage from the concert at Castle Hill RSL shows Page singing and dancing just moments before his collapse.

In his retirement video, Page said that although he loves the group, his health takes precedence.

According to Australian media, New South Wales Ambulance announced that a man in his 40s was taken from the venue to Westmead Hospital, and was in a serious but stable condition.

The Wiggles' Twitter account confirmed Page had been taken to hospital where he was receiving treatment. Page became part of The Wiggles from 1991 up until 2006 ... when he retired following his medical diagnosis with the persistent problem orthostatic intolerance, a condition of the free nerve system.
