Eminem Drops Surprise Album ‘Music to Be Murdered By’

While many fans were chuffed by the surprise album, plenty of others noticed the "disrespectful" lyric in one song that didn't sit quite so well with them - as it referenced the Manchester Arena bomb attack, which killed 22 innocent people at a 2017 Ariana Grande concert. One of the songs that jumpstarted conversations surrounding the new project is "Unaccommodating", a Young M.A-featured track on which the Detroit rapper makes light of the tragic bombing of an Ariana Grande concert almost three years ago.

The track in question is called "Unaccommodating", in which Eminem raps: "But I'm contemplating yelling "Bombs away" on the game/Like I'm outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting". And another said, "eminem stans are really trying to defend his joke about a terrorist attack that killed 22 people and gave ariana PTSD...literally bye".

At the stroke of midnight on Friday, January 17, iconic Detroit rapper Eminem released a surprise new album, Music To Be Murdered By, and it includes some traditionally controversial Slim Shady lyrics.

One fan tweeted the rapper saying: "You're so disgusting I hope u know that".

Among many collaborators, the album features Ed Sheeran, Skylar Grey, Anderson.Paak and Juice WRLD, the 21-year-old rapper who died in December.

Looking healthy and feeling confident, Mickelson has come up with a theme for the year: "Mojo Rising". At 139 in strokes gained putting, Mickelson's work on the greens didn't save him.

In a stark contrast to the Manchester Arena lyric, the album's lead single, Darkness, advocates tighter gun control laws in the US.

The video ends with a montage of news reports from recent mass shootings, captioned: "When will it end?"

The video ends with the text reading: "Make your voice heard and help change gun laws in America".

At press time, Grande hasn't responded to the song.
