Rocky Johnson Reportedly Passes Away at 75

WWE Hall of Famer and Dwayne Johnson's father Rocky "Soul Man" Johnson died on Wednesday.

Rocky Johnson passed away on January 15th, 2020, but he left a huge impression on the world around him during his 75 years of life. No cause of death is now reported.

The Canadian athlete was best known as one of the world's greatest wrestling champions, starting his professional career with the National Wrestling Alliance in 1964. Johnson teamed with Tony Atlas as The Soul Patrol, and the duo defeated The Wild Samoans in a no disqualification match on November 15, 1983 to win the WWF tag team championship.

In 2008, Johnson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the same year as his father-in-law, "High Chief" Peter Maivia.

Johnson retired from the ring in 1991 but helped train his son Dwayne to wrestle, with a multitude of titles to his name that cemented his legacy. Post-retirement, Johnson would go on to have a hand in training his son, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

It also asked the Jammu and Kashmir administration to review within a week all orders imposing curbs in the Union Territory. There is no mention of the services being restored to media organisations or to the general public in the Valley.

The news of Johnson's passing was first announced today by the Cauliflower Alley Club. "My condolences and thoughts go out to his family". A very sad day for the fight.
