Massive bushfire relief concert announced

Fire Fight Australia will be held at Sydney's ANZ stadium on Sunday, February 16 and will feature a number of local and global artists.

Adam Lambert and the classic rock group Queen will be performing at a benefit concert in Sydney, where they will be raising money for the Australia bushfire relief effort.

TEG Dainty and TEG Live announced that the national response to the Fire Fight Australia concert has exceeded their ticket expectations, with over 65,000 tickets sold in under five hours.

The gig, organised by comedian Celeste Barber - who has already raised more than $50 million through an online fundraiser - will take place at ANZ Stadium on February 16.

Queen guitarist Brian May confirmed Sunday on Instagram that Queen + Adam Lambert will take the stage February 16 at Fire Fight Australia, a fundraiser for bushfire relief efforts.

Joining them are fellow global legends Alice Cooper and k.d lang, as well as homegrown stars like Olivia Newton-John, John Farnham, Tina Arena, Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian and many many more. Ticketek Australia is the only authorised seller of FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA tickets.

May confirmed all ticket profits and contributions would go towards key organizations providing vital "rescue, relief and recovery and rehabilitation".
