Pearl Jam announce new album, tour with 4 shows in Canada

On the creation of the highly anticipated album, guitarist Mike McCready wrote: "Making this record was a long journey".

Pearl Jam will hit the road in the spring to celebrate the upcoming release of their eleventh studio album, Gigaton, which is due to be released on March 27, 2020.

Additionally, they're scheduled for a gig in Hamilton, Ont., a city in which the band hasn't played since 2011. "Collaborating with my bandmates on "Gigaton" ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times".

"Gigatonis available for pre-order now at www.pearljam.com".

Pearl Jam also announced the band will kick off their 2020 tour in Toronto on March 18, just over a week before "Gigaton" hits store shelves.

Amazon Employees Leak Customer Data to Third-Party Agent (Again)
Ring said it fired the employees for improperly viewing video footage from customer cameras. In late 2018, the company similarly admitted to exposing customer email addresses.

Gigaton will serve as Pearl Jam's first album since 2013's critically acclaimed Lightning Bolt.

The album will also feature artwork by award-winning Canadian photographer and co-founder of conservation company SeaLegacy Paul Nicklen.

The teasing is over - Pearl Jam have officially announced their upcoming new album Gigaton along with a 2020 US tour.

For more information, visit the band's website here. The first single off the album, "Dance of the Clairvoyants", will be released in the coming weeks. It was shot in Svalbard, Norway, and captures the Nordaustlandet ice cap as high volumes of melt-water gush out of it.

Tickets for the San Diego show are priced at $107, plus service fees, and go on sale January 24 at 10 a.m.at ticketmaster.com. Ticketmaster is offering a special "verified fan" presale on Thursday, January 23. Later in the tour, the band will make stops at the Pepsi Center in Denver and The Forum in Los Angeles.
