Andreas Pereira 'could become part of Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United deal'

Manchester United could complete the signing of Bruno Fernandes as early as today after agreeing personal terms worth £5.1m-per-season with the Sporting Lisbon star, according to reports today.

No agreement has been reached between United and Sporting over Fernandes yet.

Reports have claimed Marcos Rojo has been offered to the Portuguese side as the Red Devils look to offload the defender.

The Portugal worldwide is keen on a move but there has been no agreement between the clubs over a fee.

Solskjaer claims that he will be backed in the winter market if the right targets can be identified, with the United board prepared to match on-field ambition with financial support off it.

But that would be beefed up by including a player in the deal, with Brazilian midfielder Pereira, who stands to be replaced in the United team by Fernandes, the latest to be offered in a loan deal. Thus, the Red Devils are keen to offload him from the club.

He also denied that a missile caused the crash, calling such accusations "psychological warfare against Iran". He added that the investigation team was still waiting for information from the aircraft's black box.

"I can't guarantee any of these things because I don't know". "If we get something that we can tell you about we will but I've got no news now".

United remain five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the race for the Champions League places following Saturday's 4-0 thrashing of Norwich.

"I think Mason will have a top career and a long career, let the boy settle in now before we talk about England or the Euros", he added.

Fernandes, 25, wants to sign for United and they fast-forwarded plans to sign him in the current window following injuries to midfielders Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.

Before that, they will play Wolves in their FA Cup third-round replay at Old Trafford in midweek.
