Mac Miller's Posthumous 'Circles' Album Drops Next Week

Posting on Instagram, they said Mac Miller had been working on Circles with producer, Jon Brion prior to his death in September 2018.

Mac Miller's household is celebrating the rapper's legacy by unveiling plans to launch the album he had been engaged on previous to his premature dying.

Jon Brion, who helped produce and engineer "Swimming", was working with Miller on "Circles" before his passing and has helped to bring the album to completion.

Mac Miller's family have announced the upcoming release of the a new posthumous album from the rapper.

The track is the first to emerge from Miller's canon since is unfortunate death in 2018, following the release of his fifth and final studio album, Swimming. The song rightfully positions Miller as a saint of modern hip-hop, one who seemed to have spent much of his latter years trying to do right by his lovers, his family, and his fans.

"Here we are. The act of having to write this at all feels surreal".

"Two different styles complementing each other, completing a circle - Swimming in Circles was the concept", the statement said. After his passing, Jon dedicated himself to finishing Circles based on his time and conversations with Malcolm. We miss him. We are left to imagine where Malcolm was going and to appreciate where he was. From there, we're transported into an abstract world that uses motion collage to take us through animated landscapes, with familiar Mac imagery peppered throughout.
