KC Chiefs can exorcise demons against Titans in AFC Championship

KC Chiefs can exorcise demons against Titans in AFC Championship

The Packers will fulfill their wish next Sunday in the NFC Championship Game at Levi's Stadium. But what's important now is the next big game, the first NFC Championship try for the 49ers since the 2013 season when they lost to the Seattle Seahawks.

- Aaron Rodgers, Packers, had two touchdown passes and finished 16 of 27 for 243 yards while leading Green Bay past Seattle 28-23 on Sunday night. And to put the first quarter into context, Kansas City has not trailed by 21 points at any point of any game during quarterback Patrick Mahomes' tenure.

Henry, 26, carried 30 times and caught two passes against the Ravens with his longest run being 66 yards. Offensively, the 49ers did most of their damage on the ground as they rushed for 187 yards.

The sixth-seeded Titans, who are positively the shock crew of the postseason, punched their designate to the AFC title sport when they upset the Ravens 28-12 on Saturday night in Baltimore.

When they weren't handing the ball off to Henry, the Titans were taking advantage of Lamar Jackson's turnovers in front of 71,000 fans at M&T Bank Stadium. People keep telling us we aren't very good.

Qassem Soleimani carrying phone, cash and poetry books when killed
Iranian soccer star Alireza Jahanbakhsh shared a photo of Soleimani with his 1.4 million followers following the General's death. A spokesperson for the Iranian government accused Instagram of acting in an undemocratic manner for removing the posts.

And in the time it took you to read those two sentences, the Texans scored again, with a four-yard Watson touchdown pass to tight end Darren Fells.

We hope you didn't turn the Kansas City/Houston game after the Texans blasted off to an insane 24-0 lead in the first half because some things happened after that.

The Chiefs are the No. 2 seed in the AFC after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers in the final week of regular season, coupled with the New England Patriots losing at home to the Miami Dolphins. In 2019, he had the NFL's third-best QBR when opponents rushed five or more players (90.5).

The Chiefs don't have any issues putting up points, so it will be on the defense to prevent Deshaun Watson and company from pulling off any late-game heroics, like they did against the Bills last weekend. They will welcome every Chiefs designed traditional running play as a gift next Sunday, because the Titans don't have answers for their passing game.
