Grey’s Co-star Justin Chambers’ Exit Is a Huge Loss — Ellen Pompeo Affirms

Fans were devastated over Justin Chambers' abrupt exit through the long-running health crisis, that was only launched on January 10!

This is a shocker: Justin Chambers, an original Grey's Anatomy cast member and a fan favorite, is leaving the hit medical drama, now in its sixteenth season on ABC. The actress, who plays the lead on the show, shared a tweet reporting Justin's exit and said, "Truer words have never been spoken" adding a broken heart emoji.

"For some time now, however, I have hoped to diversify my acting roles and career choices", the statement continued. "And, as I flip 50 and am blessed with my distinctive, supportive partner and 5 improbable children, now's that time", the actor talked about in a press launch. "And at the dawn of my 50 years, alongside my awesome wife and my five children, I believe that this time has arrived", He ends his statement by thanking Shonda Rhimes, the original members of the series, Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens, as well as all the cast and the fans.

It doesn't seem like there is any bad blood between Chambers and the rest of the Grey's Anatomy family, thankfully. Of course, Chambers' sudden exit leaves fans with a series of unanswered questions.
