Tottenham battle to 1-1 FA Cup draw with lower-league Middlesbrough

Lucas Moura's header rescued Tottenham from an FA Cup upset in a 1-1 draw against Championship side Middlesbrough on Sunday.

The Premier League side could only record scrape a 1-1 draw at the Riverside after Lucas Moura cancelled out a second-half strike from Ashley Fletcher.

But Mourinho suggested the different weight of the FA Cup ball compared to the Premier League one made it hard for his team to impose themselves on their second tier opponents.

"Honestly, I've said for a couple of years, I think he's been Spurs' best player for a couple of years", Jenas said on BT Sport. I reacted on the bench, the players reacted on the pitch, the fans were wonderful, losing, they stayed behind the team until the end.

"Yeah because the Middlesbrough goal is offside".

Trump Vows Sanctions on Ally Iraq, Toughens Rhetoric on Iran
Trump comments come after the Iraqi parliament passed a resolution calling for the expulsion of US troops from the country. After pulling out of the nuclear accord in May 2018, the United States reimposed crippling sanctions on Iran.

When asked about Spurs being linked with Willian, Robinson told Football Insider: "I wouldn't care about what he has said about Spurs in the past, look at what Mourinho has said about Spurs in the past". Christian Eriksen is likely to leave, but Spurs have invested in Tanguy Ndombele and will be understandably keen to keep Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son - so where is the scope for a full-scale rebuild?

"The great thing for me after conceding the goal, everybody reacted. Harry is out, obviously every minute he doesn't play means a lot to us, it is a big loss for us but we have to accept it and we have to fight with the boys that are available".

A new manager - particularly one appointed in the middle of the season - ought to be given time to instill his ideas and re-mould the team in his image, but is that what Tottenham are planning? "We have what we have and we stick with them". But I will not be thinking of that, I will be thinking how we can win the game.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced their team and substitutes to play Jonathan Woodgate's Middlesbrough in an away FA Cup third round tie. You could confuse a Premier League team and a Championship team.
