'Ghost of Tsushima' (PS4) Targets Summer 2020 Launch - Screens & Trailer

The news was announced at The Game Awards in Los Angeles, where Sony Interactive Entertainment premiered a new game trailer.

Ghost of Tsushima will land on our PlayStation consoles in "summer 2020" (so June-August), with the release window confirmed in a new, extended trailer at The Game Awards on December 12.

Ghost of Tsushima is set during the Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274, a time of "warfare, chaos, and violent change". The trailer is moody and handsome, with gorgeous autumnal colors, eerie nighttime vistas, and some gore that we would expect from a samurai game.

Having only seen bits of the game here and there, it has always been speculated that Sony might be holding Ghost of Tsushima back, waiting to unleash it as an early PS5 launch title.

Los Angeles Lakers at Miami Heat odds, picks and best bets
There were five lead changes and four ties in a tight first quarter that finished with the Lakers on top, 30-29. Las Angeles shoots just under 50 percent from the field, shooting 48.7 percent and rebound 45.4 boards a game.

The game is the first from Sucker Punch Productions since the release of inFamous First Light in 2014, first being revealed in October 2017 at Paris Games Week.

As Jin, we will learn some skills and adopt new tactics to take on his enemy.

The game will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4. We get a good look at the combat as the trailer skips through different scenarios; it's clear stealth and subterfuge will be important, as the trailer shows a definite assassination element.

The trailer includes some quick glimpses of the vibrant, diverse open world you'll get to explore, but we've barely scratched the surface.
