Resident Evil 3 Game Gets Remake on April 3

You'll be playing as both characters in the remake, similar to how Leon and Claire functioned as dual protagonists in Resident Evil 2. The game will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Nemesis will be a completely reimagined version of Resident Evil 3.

If the fact that Resident Evil 3 was revealed during State of Play has you anxious that it might be a PlayStation exclusive, you can breathe a sigh of relief. The company also gave us a firm release date for the remake: April 3rd, 2020.

The Resident Evil 3 Remake is, to no one's surprise, very real.

Although the remake was leaked through a PlayStation Store listing earlier this month, the official trailer for Resident Evil 3 debuted today at Sony's State of Play presentation.

Most horror fans are already familiar with Resident Evil 3.

Project Resistance was previously revealed, but it appeared to be a codename for a separate Resi game.

Jill, who was among the survivors of the first Resident Evil, teams up with amiable mercenary Carlos Oliveira as she tries to dodge Nemesis and escape the city. Manipulate the environment and wield a deck of cards to place vicious creatures, set traps and weaponized security cameras to snare hapless Survivors.

Along with Resident Evil 3, you'll get co-op multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance, an intense four vs one survival game.

Developed by Capcom in partnership with Devil May Cry HD Collection studio NeoBards, Project Resistance is described as an asymmetric online five-person multiplayer game combining cooperative and competitive dynamics.
