Jews slam Trump for 'anti-Semitic' comments Saturday

"You've got to be very careful, make no mistake, radical lawmakers who support the BDS movement are advancing anti-Israel and anti-Semitic propaganda", Trump said.

Trump has put his son-in-law Jared Kushner, who is Jewish-American but had no previous experience in government before joining this administration, in charge of the peace plan.

The plan also is facing rejection by Palestinian officials, who object to the pro-Israel leanings of the Trump administration. "But if Jared Kushner can't do it, it can't be done".

The US president also said some Jewish Americans "don't love Israel enough" and claimed he would have no trouble persuading Jewish voters in the 2020 election as they would want to "protect their wealth".

Mr Trump said that he believes thousands of Iranians have been killed in the protests and that thousands more have been arrested.

In a keynote speech before the Israeli-American Council National Summit in Hollywood, Fla., Trump boasted of the killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and of his administration's controversial move of the United States embassy to Jerusalem, the Miami Herald reported.

Trump did mention the USA peace plan for Israel and the Palestinian Authority, which was conceived by a team headed by his son-in-law Jared Kushner. You're brutal killers. Not nice people at all, but you have to vote for me you have no choice [.]. "Someday you'll have to explain that to me because I don't think they liked Israel too much".

President Donald Trump on Saturday declared himself the "best friend" Israel has ever had in the White House because, unlike his predecessors, "I kept my promises". Some said Trump was essentially suggesting that American-Jews should also necessarily be supportive of Israel and the government's right-wing policies, which played into the anti-Semitic "dual-loyalty" trope often used to attack Jews in the USA and other countries.

U.S. Supreme Court blocks plans to bring back federal death penalty
The Supreme Court on Friday blocked the Trump administration from restarting federal executions next week after a 16-year break. The justices are scheduled to discuss at least one and maybe two other similar cases at their private conference that day.


Jews make up only a small portion of the electorate but in Florida they represent a crucial piece of the swing state electoral puzzle.

She noted that support for Republicans among American-Jews has dropped significantly since Trump took office.

Trump made similar comments in August about Jewish people who don't vote Republican.

Trump was introduced by Israeli-born Dr. Miriam Adelson, alongside her American born husband Sheldon Adelson.

Trump has transformed America's alliance with Israel during his first term in office by moving the USA embassy in Tel Aviv to the disputed holy city of Jerusalem, pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal and recognizing Israeli sovereignty over Golan Heights.

The Adelsons donated $30 million to Mr Trump's campaign in the final months of the 2016 race. They followed up by donating 100 million USA dollars to the Republican Party for last November's congressional elections.
