SpaceX launches NASA cargo for the ISS: Here’s what they sent

SpaceX's Dragon rocket, which launched at 12:30 p.m. from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Flordia and was filled with about 5,700 pounds of supplies and payloads.

SpaceX and Boeing are contracted with NASA under the Commercial Crew Program develop spacecraft to transport astronauts to the International Space Station.

Back in November, the American space agency completed a few static-fire engine tests of their spacecraft, which is meant to ferry astronauts to the International Space Station in 2020.

The Hyperspectral Imager Suite (HISUI), next-generation, hyperspectral Earth imaging system, was amongst different investigations.

Lane Kiffin reportedly finalizing deal to become next Ole Miss coach
Kiffin was sacked from USC in the middle of the 2013 season but came back as Alabama's offensive coordinator the next season. Coach Kiffin checked every box and is a home run for our program.

Astronauts have not flown into space since the US UU.

HISUI supplies space-based observations for duties comparable to useful resource exploration and functions in agriculture, forestry and different environmental areas, NASA mentioned.

For example, the "Malting ABI Voyager Barley Seeds in Microgravity" experiment will investigate malt produced in space, which will then be compared to malt produced on the ground in order to determine the effects of the microgravity environment. Understanding how barley responds to microgravity could identify ways to adapt it for nutritional use on long-duration spaceflights. NASA believes that the examine might assist the event of therapies for a variety of circumstances that trigger muscle and bone loss on Earth. It may lead to the development of improved sensors that can be used for spacecraft navigation and to study Earth's climate. These capabilities can be applied to any place that humans live in space, including NASA's lunar Gateway and eventually habitats on the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

The company is launching its "Cargo Dragon" capsule on top of a Falcon 9 rocket for the mission, called CRS-19.
