Jurgen Klopp Provides Fitness Updates on Liverpool Trio Following Victory Over Bournemouth

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gave Liverpool the lead just after the half-hour mark before Naby Keita doubled their advantage minutes ahead of half-time.

There was one sour note for Liverpool as they lost Dejan Lovren to injury in the first half but Klopp said he is hopeful it was not serious, while he praised his players as they stopped the opposition scoring for the first time in nine Premier League matches.

Mohamed Salah got on the scoresheet in the 54th minute to make it 3-0, while Liverpool then closed out the game to take all three points.

Klopp has calmed any fears over a serious injury for Lovren, and the German boss also provided positive news over the fitness of Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum, who were not included in this weekend's matchday squad. The manager has said all the way through the season there's going to be a lot of games, so we need everybody and that's proven the case so far.

Liverpool have now pulled eleven points clear at the top of the Premier League table with the win, though Leicester City can close the gap on Sunday.

Until ice coverage becomes thick enough again, the bears will remain on land and search for food along the shore, he said. Polar bears regularly visit areas inhabited by humans in Arctic Russia to search for food, often in rubbish tips.

"Dejan Lovren's injury was hopefully just cramp but apart from that it was a ideal game".

Klopp added: "It is not about being constantly exciting it is about doing the right stuff. So, almost a flawless day".

"We'll be happy with that, but we want to improve, want to keep going and onto the next game".

Liverpool FC will now switch their attentions towards their trip to RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Tuesday night, before preparing for their home clash against Watford in the Premier League next Saturday afternoon.
