Henry Cavill's "The Witcher" debuts three new character posters

While many fans' first exposure to Geralt of Rivia and the world of The Witcher came by way of 2015's The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, this Netflix series is actually being adapted from the series of novels written by Andrzej Sapkowski.

Another reviewer compared The Witcher to Game of Thrones, saying that the new Netflix show's fight scenes will make HBO's series look "look like two drunks fighting outside a bar".

There is also no shortage of both Bath Tub Geralt and Henry Cavill butt-kicking.

"I'll have more to say about it when the embargo drops, but The Witcher is well-cast, smartly-structured, and nicely paced".

If anything, Netflix looks to have faith in The Witcher seeing as they already renewed the show for a second season. The next posters are from Freya Allan, who plays Ciri, and Anya Chalotra, who plays Yennefer.

"When future hurtles [Geralt] towards a robust sorceress, and a younger princess with a harmful secret, the three should study to navigate the more and more risky continent collectively", the outline reads.

These new pictures give the fans a new look at Drew Van Acker as an Aqualad and a few new looks at the original team that has teamed up to act. In particular, we get our best look at how the Aqualad suit translates onscreen in live-action form. Season 2 will consist of another eight episodes, as well.
