Patrick Reed three clear as Tiger Woods mounts charge

Patrick Reed three clear as Tiger Woods mounts charge

Patrick Reed held the outright lead after the second round of the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas on Thursday while tournament host Tiger Woods used a back-nine surge to match the day's low score and remain six shots back.

Reed was just one under for the round after a steady first eight holes, but he then reeled off three straight birdies around the turn before picking up further shots at 14 and 15, although he did lose momentum with a dropped shot at the 16th. While new rules do allow players to ground their clubs in bunkers, officials determined that he was improving his line of play.

"It's unfortunate", said Reed, whose bogey at the 11th was changed to a triple-bogey eight. Thomas finished the round three-under par, leaving him in T3 with Englishman Justin Rose, best friend Rickie Fowler and Swede Henrik Stenson.Gary Woodland and Patrick Reed now have a share of the lead at six-under par, while Chez Reavie, who was a late replacement for Dustin Johnson, sits in third place two shots off the lead.

SpaceX delays mega rocket launch due to high wind shear
As many people remember, when the Falcon Heavy made its debut in February 2018, SpaceX was only able to recover two boosters. The so-called Arabsat 6A satellite was placed into an equatorial orbit some 22,000 miles (36,000km) above the Earth.

Reed wasn't very apologetic after the round, either.

"I think with a different camera angle they would have realised that if it was from the side you would have seen that with the backswing it was not improving the lie because it was far enough away from the golf ball". After torching the back nine early on both Wednesday and Thursday, the event's five time victor found success once again in the later holes.

Former world No 1 Woods, who is also plotting the United States' Presidents Cup campaign in Australia next week, fired a five-under-par 67. Your primary contenders for this championship are the six guys in the final three tee times since the guys at T7 are four back of Reed and seven back of Woodland's lead. But at the end of the day, after seeing it, after seeing the club go back and brush some sand they thought, considered that's a breach.
