Liverpool confirms full-strength squad for Club World Cup

Jurgen Klopp's European champions are due to play their Club World Cup semi-final in Qatar on December 18, the day after going up against Villa in the EFL Cup quarter-finals.

- When are Liverpool in the FIFA Club World Cup?

That comes less than 24 hours after their Carabao Cup clash with Aston Villa.

Kelleher is ahead of Andy Lonergan in the Liverpool pecking order but will line out for Liverpool against Villa in a side managed by under-23's coach Neil Critchley.

Liverpool will also be able to replace any player who has to withdraw through injury or illness until 24 hours before their first game of the competition.

Queen snub: Why the Queen WON’T step down for Prince Charles
It is said that this decision was taken into account with opinions from Prince Charles and Prince William . Royal expert Penny Junor revealed that Prince Charles was heartbroken when he heard the news.

Liverpool's attacking trio, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Firmino lead the team squad for the tournament while Joel Matip and Fabinho were ruled out for injury.

Caoimhin Kelleher, Sepp Van den Berg, Herbie Kane, Pedro Chirivella, Yasser Larouci, Billy Koumetio and Leighton Clarkson have been left behind for the Villa clash.

Should they win that tie, they will progress to the final on 21 December where their opponents would either be Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Esperance (Tunisia) or Flamengo (Brazil).

Midfielders: Jordan Henderson (captain), James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, Adam Lallana, Harvey Elliott & Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
