Colts' Adam Vinatieri may not play again this season

"I will approve until I finish and then we will make a decision".

It hasn't been a fun season for Vinatieri, to say the least.

Mack, who missed the Colts' last two games due to a fractured hand, was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, according to the team's official injury report.

He has, and now the Colts will be without three key players against a tough Bucs team that has won three of their last four games. Despite a career of consistency and production, Vinatieri's 2019 season will forever be looked upon as an outlier.

And seeing how nothing regarding the show has been leaked, that means we're going to see stuff that should surprise us all. The Game Awards 2019 creator Geoff Keighley recently revealed that the awards show will feature new game announcements.

Vinatieri said he is meeting with general manager Chris Ballard and the team's medical staff Thursday afternoon, and that should help provide clarity on whether he plays again this season or goes on injured reserve list. Two of Vinatieri's misses - at the Chargers and Pittsburgh - cost the Colts games. It was his first on-field work since suffering the injury in the Colts' Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also has had three kicks blocked, including one that was returned 63 yards for a touchdown against Tennessee this past Sunday. As a potential insurance claimed the Colts, kicker Chase McLaughlin have cut from the 49ers and renounced the close end of Matt Lengel.

Winston's rookie contract expires at the end of the season and the future of the 25 years at Tampa Bay is in the air. That includes eight missed field-goal attempts, tied for the most in his career.

"If you can be on the field, you do everything you can to be on the field", Vinatieri said.
