Xiaomi to discontinue Mi Max and Mi Note smartphone

Xiaomi has launched the world's first 108 megapixel (MP) Penta camera phones - the Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro.

The Mi Note 10 Pro meanwhile comprises five 8-piece lens and has the same types of lenses found in the Mi Note 10. It also consist a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, audio jack, NFC, and a 4500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charge.

It also features a Snapdragon 665 mobile processor and a choice of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Xiaomi will either release the Mi 10 in early February as well, or aim for a launch date after MWC 2020.

2019 is the year where we've seen lots of brands move to curved displays rather than the usual flat panels and Xiaomi hasn't missed out either. The other sensors of the quad camera setup may include an 8-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel camera.

He also confirmed that the phone will use Samsung's 108-megapixel camera sensor, the same as the Mi Note 10 and Mi MIX Alpha.

It's official that the Redmi K30 is launching soon in China but Xiaomi has big plans for the December 10 launch event. It will be available in Halo White, Gamma Green and Shadow Black color options.

The phone supports face unlock as well as an in-screen fingerprint reader; while running on MUI 11 based on Android 9. It gets a bump in RAM to 8GB and 256GB of storage.
