Arkansas reports additional flu deaths

Alan Craft commented on behalf of the hospital claiming that they have had an uptick in the number of people they are treating for flu-related symptoms, but the posts aren't true.

State health officials say six people have died in Arkansas from influenza so far this flu season. Manny Alvarez sits down with a Harvard Medical School doctor to discuss everything you need to know about this year's flu season.

Last season, 120 deaths in the state were attributed to the flu.

The union stated that forcing non-vaccinated staff to wear a mask compromised care by sometimes confusing patients with mental-health issues, and led to communication problems with patients who had hearing issues.

According to information from the Oklahoma State Department of Health, one victim was between 50-years-old and 64-years-old, while the other two were over the age of 65.

There has been a recent uptick in influenza in November according to the health department.

The county says 203 lab-confirmed flu cases were reported last week, nearly double the previous week's total. Dr. Castrodale said this year is different than previous years, but not necessarily more threatening so far.

The B.C. Nurses' Union has won its fight over a rule that forced nurses to either receive a flu vaccine or wear a face mask at work.
