Many tissue donations are possible from non-beating heart donors such as corneas, heart valves, skin, and bone. But with DCD transplants , the donor's heart has actually stopped beating and the person is declared deceased.

The "head" side of the coin indicates that Federer is playing one hand with one hand.

"In addition to his sporting brilliance, Roger Federer is above all the ideal ambassador for Switzerland", Bern, Switzerland-based Swissmint, which is responsible for the minting of Swiss coins, said in a statement.

The mint stressed that the reason to immortalize Federer in the Swiss francs has not only been his sporting successes but also his social commitment, "especially through its foundation of helping children as ambassador of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)".

The limited edition coin will cost 30 Swiss francs and 95,000 of the coins can be ordered.
