James Harden scores 60 points in 31 minutes

Houston Rockets guard James Harden is one of the NBA's top scorers - and he made history last night.

James Harden scored 60 points for the fourth time in his career during the Houston Rockets' 158-111 National Basketball Association win over the Atlanta Hawks.

"It's like everything else he does - unbelievable", Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said. He watched the entire fourth quarter from the bench with Houston up 127-73 at the end of the third period.

"What he is doing has not been seen", said teammate Austin Rivers. "My man had 60 and didn't play the fourth quarter. Name another player who can do it now".

Harden was so dominant in fact, he didn't even play the fourth quarter, joining Kobe Bryant and Klay Thompson as the only players in the past 25 seasons to put up 60 points in just three quarters. Therefore, he is the only active player who has scored 60 points a couple of times. "Nope", he said, before walking off.

As if that weren't bad enough, the Rockets have also been without Clint Capela for three games and Danuel House for four games, who are both starters that happen to be the team's best shot-blockers.

Lloyd Pierce said that the Hawks tried to throw a range of defenders Harden's direction. "Try to put him under pressure. He just didn't feel us".

Atlanta was never really in this and lost 20 points or more during most of the game.

Harden came one point short of tying his career-high of 61 points.

When is James Bond: No Time To Die released in the UK?
Besides Daniel Craig's Bond , we also have posters for franchise vets like Q ( Ben Whishaw ), Madeleine Swann ( Lea Seydoux ). The film, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga , will see the return of Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming 's 007 one last time.

Trae Young led the Hawks with 37 points and seven assists in the loss.

If you missed it, check out the highlights from Harden's insane 3-quarters (below). Atlanta made 15 of 46-pointers.

Harden's 60 points on 24 field-goal attempts during Saturday's blowout victory were the fewest of any player in National Basketball Association history to score 60. "Hopefully when it's all said and done, I can be mentioned in that group forever".

"Yes, I was playing with fans a bit, but I honestly didn't know", he said.

Well, three quarters of a game.

There were a few half-hearted chants of: "Harden!" The money magazine reports that he will rake in $55.2 million pre-taxes this season, $38.2 million from salary and $17 million through endorsements.

Despite his superb performance, Antetokounmpo's double-double streak to begin the season was halted at 19 games. "He steals all the rebounds". "We're trying to have conversations with him about being healthy and fresh and how important that is".

"Pat Connaughton (team-high 10 rebounds) probably stole it".
