Resident Evil 3 Remake All But Confirmed In New Leak

Capcom has been rumored to be working on a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake for a while now, and it seems the game is indeed happening, thanks to a new GamStat listing for the Japanese version of the game, titled Biohazard RE:3.

Resident Evil 3 Nemesis had more of an action orientated feel to it than previous games in the RE series. That, or perhaps there's a re-release with lovely new cover art on the way.

Rumours have been swirling that the PS1 remake will be launching next year.

Resident Evil 3 originally came out back in 1999 for the PlayStation in the USA and Japan, and arrived in the United Kingdom in February 2000. According to Gamstat, the PlayStation Store just got three (cover) images denoting the artwork for the Resident Evil 3 remake.

Avalanche 7, Blackhawks 3
MacKinnon gave the Avalanche a 1-0 lead at 0:59 of the first period. "I felt good, honestly", Lehner said. Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith left the game in the second period after he sustained a groin injury.

The multiplayer spin-off's announcement in September forced Capcom producer Matt Walker to address fan concern about the future of the franchise as a traditional single-player game. Although Mr. X has popularized the whole "enemy that follows you throughout the game" mechanic with his design upgrades in the Resident Evil 2 remake, RE3 goes a bit further.

It's possible that the two will launch together.

It appears that the announcement for Resident Evil 3 Remake is nearly upon us. We have no official word from Capcom yet.
