‘Doctor Who’: Premiere Date Set For Season 12, New Trailer Drops

Jodie Whittaker will be back as the titular Time Lord, marking her second season as the 13th Doctor.

The BBC has just confirmed with a brand new trailer that Doctor Who's 12th season will premiere on January 1st, 2020 on BBC One.

The museum's tweet was liked more than 25,000 times, with some users posting screenshots of complaints they had sent to Amazon. The Auschwitz museum also alerted online store Wish on Monday about the same items being sold on its website.


According to a release, the show will continue airing episodes in that regular timeslot starting on January 5.

We also have some new details about the premiere, which will be an action-packed two-parter titled "Spyfall". This one-day-only special event, featuring the premiere episode and an exclusive early unveiling of the second episode of the new season, will be simulcast to over 600 cinema screens nationwide. The event will include a Q&A with Whittaker and fellow cast members Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill transmitted from The Paley Center for Media in NY. Tickets and a list of participating locations will be available beginning Friday, December 6 at the Fathom Events website.

The twelfth series will also welcome a host of famous faces including Stephen Fry, Sir Lenny Henry CBE, Robert Glenister and Goran Višnjić to name just a few.
